Spain fail to convince Real Sociedad winger Griezmann

Spain have failed in a bid to cap Real Sociedad wing sensation Antoine Griezmann.

The 18 year-old midfielder is being watched by Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona, this season.

The Spanish FA have attempted to convince Griezmann to commit his international future to Spain, but the winger remains devoted to France, says AS.

France U19 coach Francis Smerecki is expected to call on Griezmann for next year's European Championships in Bulgaria.
