Spain coach Julen Lopetegui is non-committal over recalling Diego Costa to his squad.

In dispute with Chelsea, Costa has failed to do a serious preseason and remains AWOL in Brazil.

It's claimed Costa is still desperate to make Spain's World Cup squad, but Lopetegui was offering little encouragement.

"We have been very aware of his summer and we will also be attentive to what may happen in the future," he stated.
