Spain coach Vicente del Bosque was delighted with Cesc Fabregas' impact on last night's World Cup final triumph.

It was the Arsenal midfielder who set up Andres Iniesta for his extra time winner.

"Fabregas came on and we began to dominate," said Del Bosque. "We had greater ball possession and depth in our game. We created chances for Cesc and David Villa which we could have converted, but that's the way football goes."
