Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque has heaped praise on Barcelona star Xavi as he prepares to win his 100th cap.
Xavi will become just the second outfield player to reach the landmark for Spain - Schalke striker Raul being the first - if he plays against the Czech Republic.
"He is a great kid who is totally dedicated to the national team," Del Bosque said. "Xavi is the benchmark for what the squad is about, personally and professionally.
"It is impossible to know who is the best in the history of Spanish football, but Xavi is one of the best, that is a no-brainer."
