England coach Gareth Southgate believes Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy will be available for Leicester City's Premier League opener.

The Foxes kickoff the campaign at Manchester United.

While Maguire and Vardy only landed back in England with the rest of Southgate's Three Lions' squad on Sunday, after reaching the third place play-off at the World Cup, Southgate does not think they'll be too tired for the Old Trafford clash.

Southgate said: "I think they're physically in a very good place.

"We've brought everyone back fully fit which is remarkable and great credit to the conditioning team and the players, who've embraced the way of working.

"They'll go and have some time now - the clubs will decide how much of a break they get. It's about mental freshness now and switching off for a few weeks - but physically they're ready to go."
