Southend United boss Paul Sturrock admits Rowan Vine's fitness is putting him off.

QPR striker Vine, 29, has been told he can leave Rangers and scored in a reserve game for the Shrimpers in midweek.

"He didn't look fit to me. A worrying aspect is how long it would take [to get him fit]," Sturrock told BBC Essex.
