Crystal Palace forward Kwesi Appiah is a target for Phil Brown's Southend United.
The Croydon Advertiser says the former Margate man impressed on loan at Cambridge United last season in the Conference Premier, and the U's are also interested in a return for Appiah too.
First team chances are set to be limited with the Eagles, so a loan or permanent move is the most likely option this summer.
