West Ham youngster Stephen Hendrie is returning to Southend United.

Hendrie will return to Southend after spending a month on loan from West Ham.

“We've spoken to West Ham, they're happy with it and I can't see it not happening now," Southend boss Phil Brown told the Echo News.

“Stephen is delighted we want him to come back but we won't complete the deal until Monday.

“Doing it that way means we can get more games into the month he's coming back for and that's something which certainly suits all parties."
