West Ham defender Stephen Hendrie won't be returning to Southend United.

Southend boss Phil Brown has revealed Hendrie will not be returning to the club on loan.

The West Ham defender spent a month at Roots Hall earlier this year but Ben Coker's return to fitness means he will not be heading back.

“It's one we're keeping an eye on though and there's still 61 days left of the loan if we wanted to use it again," Brown told EchoSport.

“But it would probably only happen if Ben Coker got injured."
