Josh Sims is the latest Southampton youngster to sign a contract extension.
The 19-year-old midfielder has penned a deal that will keep him at St Mary's until 2020.
Sims follows fellow academy graduates Sam McQueen, Harrison Reed and Jake Hesketh in committing his future to the Saints.
"It's been nice to see other young players sign," he told southamptonfc.com.
"I've been playing with these lads a long time now, we've all come through the Academy together, so it's nice to see the players that you work with every day progressing.
"For me, I want to work towards getting some more first-team appearances under my belt now. I just want to continue to show the staff what I can do."
