Southampton won't consider Dyer, Surman sales

Southampton Leon Crouch insists none of their top players are for sale.

Nathan Dyer and Andrew Surman have been linked with Portsmouth and Aston Villa, among several Premiership clubs, but Crouch told the club's website: "We have no intention of selling our best players. There is a new board now and we will draw a line under everything that has gone on before. As far as I am concerned we are going forward now with a good set of players.

"All clubs in the Championship need money and we are in the same situation, but we have better facilities than a lot of the clubs in this league, we have a good squad of players and we have assets."
