Maarten de Roon is unsure if he will stay with Middlesbrough after their relegation.

The Holland midfielder has won praise from Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho this season and attracted interest from Southampton, Bournemouth and Watford.

De Roon told Fox Sports: "Of course, you want to play at the highest level, so we're going to see what the summer brings.

"But for now I'm still at Middlesbrough and I have a contract. If I play next year, we are going to try to come back as soon as possible."

De Roon is tied to Boro until 2020.
