Championship club Southampton are keen to sign Jos Hooiveld from Celtic on a permanent basis.
The 28-year old Dutch defender is on loan at St Mary's from August until January and has impressed during his time there, so much so, that the Saints want him long-term.
Hooiveld has made 11 appearances for England's second tier table-toppers and is attracting some curiosity from Premier League clubs although Southampton will look to sign him permanently in the new year after opening talks with the Glasgow giants.
