Stoke City produced a 1-0 win over Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday.
Mark Hughes' Potters scored their first-ever win at the south coast venue thanks to a classy 10th-minute goal from Bojan Krkic.
The Spaniard got on the end of a pinpoint Erik Pieters pass to flick beyond Maarten Stekelenburg with the outside of his right foot for his third of the campaign.
Stoke were good value for the win as they had the better of the chances throughout and this latest result sees them move to 11th place on the Premier League table while Ronald Koeman's Saints dropped to eighth having had their unbeaten streak of six matches ended by the defeat.
MATCH OVERVIEW
Southampton: 0
Stoke City: 1 (Bojan Krkic 10')

TALKING POINTS
- Stoke are beginning to come into their own following a slow start. Does Hughes now have them primed, especially with five clean sheets in their past six outings?
- Just a slip up for Southampton? A fantastic run of results ends but still plenty of upside for Koeman's side.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Saints head to the Etihad Stadium to tackle Manchester City on Saturday as Stoke look ahead to their trip to Sunderland on the same day.

Disappointed with the result. Slow start in the 1st half cost us. Let's focus again for a positive… https://t.co/oqgCBq30lr

QUOTES CORNER
Stoke's Hughes on the performance of his improving team:
"I'm very pleased, I thought we restricted a very good side to few clear-cut opportunities.
"It was a very good away performance. That's one defeat in 10 and we are in decent shape."
Southampton's Koeman on the odd atmosphere within his squad:
"I didn't recognise my team, I didn't recognise the atmosphere in the stadium, maybe because of the circumstances of last week.
"To beat Stoke you need a high level and extra quality up front, but the whole performance was not the Southampton level. It was strange."
