Southampton boss George Burley admits they're disappointed to have lost coach Glyn Snodin to West Ham United.
Burley told the Saints website: "It's very disappointing to lose Glynn who is a smashing lad. He came here to work with the first-team after being in charge of the reserves at Charlton and has been with us for just over a year.
"He was very popular and will be a big miss for us, but he has the opportunity to go to the Premiership and he feels this is an opportunity he could not turn down."
The clubs have already agreed a compensation package for Snodin, who recently accepted an offer to work on a part-time basis alongside new Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington.
