Southampton U19 coach Jason Dodd was thrilled with their victory over Manchester United.

Saints youngsters put in a strong performance to see off the league leaders at Staplewood.

Dodd praised Ryan Seager, who bagged a brace in the game, and has been put on standby for England Under-17s.

"Me and Willo (coach Paul Williams) aren't doing too much with him on his movement, because we're learning off of him," he admitted on Saints Player.

"You saw with the goals today his movement is excellent and our players are feeding off of it. He keeps getting in great positions and we keep finding him.

"He's on standby for England Under-17s. I'm surprised he's only on standby, but that's maybe a bit biased from our point!"
