Southampton are being linked with Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Saints have set their sights on Onazi as they seek to rebuild their squad.

The young Nigerian has been in Italy since 2011 but could be set to move elsewhere after reportedly attracting interest from a number of English and German clubs.

Onazi is pleased with his injury recovery after his World Cup was ended early by a heavy challenge against France.
