Southampton are keen to offload Dani Osvaldo and sign Sampdoria striker Eder as his replacement.

The Mirror says Southampton are ready to write off £5m to ship out bad-boy Dani Osvaldo after his training ground attack on Jose Fonte - and want Sampdoria star Eder to replace him.

Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus have been joined by Spanish side Sevilla in the race to sign Osvaldo, 28.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is now frantically searching for someone to fill the void left by Osvaldo, with prolific Brazilian striker Eder their top target.
