Norwich City are set to receive some competition for FC Utrecht striker Sebastien Haller.
According to the Daily Mail, Southampton and Sunderland are also keen on the Frenchman and could pose a slight problem for Alex Neil's pursuit.
21-year-old Haller, who has scored 11 Eredivisie goals this season, has already been in talks with the Canaries but is yet to agree a deal at Carrow Road and there is cause for concern for Neil as he is now on the radar of both the Saints and the Black Cats.
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is eager to strengthen his misfiring attack, which apart from the recent 4-0 win over Arsenal, has scored just three goals in their past seven league outings.
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is also on the hunt for a quality goalscorer as the Wearside outfit look to move out of the relegation zone.
