Southampton striker Billy Sharp hopes to help Nottingham Forest win promotion to the Premier League.
The Saints hotshot, 27, is on a season-long loan at the City Ground but wants to finally resolve his future in the summer.
He said: "I have played under three managers this season. So there has been a certain amount of uncertainty. I've seen rumours that I am going to sign permanently and I have spoken to the gaffer about one or two things.
"It would be nice if the club I am contracted to were in the Premier League and the club I have been on loan to were as well.
"That would put me in a strong position at the end of the season!
"I still believe now that I could do a job in the Premier League."
