Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez has set his sights on an England breakthrough.
Rodriguez, 23, has seen ex-Saints starlets Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain play on the international stage for England, and Gareth Bale make the jump with Wales.
He said: "It is every player's dream to play for their country. That is what you want. That is the ultimate aim. I will keep my head down and try to score as many goals as possible. If that comes, that comes.
"First I have to prove myself in the Premier League and I want to show everyone I can perform at this level.
"I am still learning but it is a great place to be. Injured
"I missed out when Burnley were in the Premier League because I was injured, but this is something I have always wanted to do."
