Serie A club Bologna are believed to be showing considerable interest in Graziano Pelle.

The 29-year old Italian striker enjoyed a fairly fruitful debut season with Southampton, netting 12 Premier League goals, for a total of 16 in all competitions.

According to the Daily Mirror, Pelle, who joined the Saints from Dutch club Feyenoord for £8million last summer, is now being wanted by Bologna who are looking to prepare a competitive squad after gaining promotion from Serie B.

However, Southampton have no intentions of parting with Pelle who they want to continue on as their number one striker to work alongside young Spaniard Juanmi who joined for £5million from Malaga earlier on Tuesday.
