Southampton's England hero Ricki Lambert admits he's growing tired talking about his past work in a beetroot factory.
The Southampton striker never gave up on his hopes of making it to the top and now admits he still can't quite believe it.
Lambert said: "It's a little bit different, isn't it? I can tell you what I prefer!
"It's been a hell of a journey and to get a goal on my full debut means everything.
"I'm a little bit annoyed (about beetroot factory talk) but I understand that's my life, that's my past, so I understand people are going to bring it up. That's what I was doing, so it's good to show people that it can happen.
"It's very surreal. It's beyond my imagination what's happening at the minute. But I'm trying to stay cool, I'm trying to do what's important and that's trying to do well when the kick-off starts.
"But it feels surreal all the time, just the players I'm playing with, the people who I've looked up to all my career."
