Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is still showing interest in Jordy Clasie according to reports.

It is believed that the Saints are working hard to sign a replacement for Morgan Schneiderlin who is set to join Manchester United on a £25million deal on Wednesday.

Feyenoord captain Clasie, 24, played under Koeman at De Kuip and it has been suggested that he will go after the player this week.

Clasie has previously been linked with the Saints but with Schneiderlin's exit imminent, it is expected that the south coast outfit will now make a serious move.

Southampton are also being linked with Marseille's Giannelli Imbula.
