Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino still has the backing of the club's board despite reports stating he could be relieved of his duties.
Recent national headlines in The Sun say Marco Silva is set to replace the former Valencia boss with the Saints currently in the relegation zone and winless in 11 Premier League games.
But it appears his job is safe for now with an encouraging draw against Spurs in their last match.
Silva was dismissed as Watford manager over the weekend, whilst Southampton's next fixture is against the Hornets in the FA Cup on Saturday.
