Southampton have stepped up talks for Feyenoord striker Graziano Pelle and FC Twente midfielder Dusan Tadic.
Pelle played for new Saints boss Ronald Koeman last season.
The Daily Echo says talks are taking place with Feyenoord and FC Twente over possible moves with Koeman keen to dip into a potential £100m war chest - comprising all the money raised from player sales this summer and funds that were already earmarked for squad investment - and make them his first Saints signings.
Pelle, a 6ft 4in powerhouse of a striker, was signed for Feyenoord by Koeman, and is understood to be keen to link up again with his former boss.
Tadic is a 25-year-old playmaker who was the fourth top scorer in the Eredivisie last season, including two goals against Koeman's Feyenoord on the opening day of the last campaign.
