Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino could be the Premier League's big spender this summer.

Pochettino has already splashed out £8.5m on Lyon defender Dejan Lovren and has agreed a £10m fee with Celtic for midfield powerhouse Victor Wanyama.

The Daily Star says Saints chairman Nicola Cortese has been promised £30m to spend by the club's Swiss owners but that could rise to more than £45m.
