Southampton have snapped up Fulham defender Ian Pearce on-loan.

Pearce, 33, has joined the Coca-Cola Championship club on a 30-day loan and goes straight into the squad for the trip to Scunthorpe.

The experienced defender has played in every Premier League season since its inception in 1992 and has featured for Chelsea, Blackburn, West Ham and Fulham.
