Southampton defender Toby Alderweireld won't rule out a return to Atletico Madrid.

Saints signed the Belgium defender on a season-long loan on deadline day last week.

"The Colchoneros can recover me if they want," said Alderweireld.

"At the end of this season, however, we will sit at a table to discuss what is the best solution for all parties involved.

"But now I just want to think about getting back onto the pitch this season with Southampton."
