Southampton have managed to clinch the signature of Pablo Osvaldo from AS Roma.
The 27-year old Argentine-born Italian striker has signed a four-year deal with the Saints believed to be for a club record fee of around £15million.
"Southampton football club is delighted to announce the signing of Italy striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo," a statement from Saints read.
"Osvaldo today agreed terms on a four-year contract with Saints and moves from Serie A side AS Roma."
Osvaldo, who will reunite with former Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino, will be unveiled at St Mary's on Monday.
