Southampton defender Luke Shaw has praised departing manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine has left St Mary's to take the reins at Tottenham after a year-and-a-half on the south coast.
Pochettino placed plenty of trust in the teenage left-back, starting him in 35 Premier League matches last season, which also saw him land an England call-up and a spot in the World Cup squad for Brazil 2014.
Upon the departure, Shaw Tweeted his gratitude to Pochettino who influenced a vast improvement out of a number of key players at St Mary's.
Would like to thank Mauricio For everything he has done for me. Great manager , great guy and has helped me a lot. Wish him all the best
