Rangers are believed to be keen on bringing Southampton winger Jason Puncheon to the club in the summer.
The 24-year old has enjoyed a good loan spell with Premier League club Blackpool during the second part of the season and is reportedly looking for a permanent move away from St Mary's Stadium in June.
However, 'Gers will have to do battle with Newcastle United as manager Alan Pardew has a history with Puncheon after signing him to Southampton from Plymouth Argyle when he was in charge of the Saints and wanted him on loan in January.
