Southampton signing Artur Boruc could make a debut in the Capital One Cup against Sheffield Wednesday tonight.

It is understood that Nigel Adkins would like to blood Boruc as soon as possible with the experienced international having not played since May.

But he will only do so if he thinks that Boruc is entirely ready to get a taste of the action so quickly, says the Daily Echo.
