Nigel Adkins' compo dispute with Southampton could cost him the Leeds United job.

The Daily Star says he is suing Southampton in a bid to get the final three years of his contract paid up.

The dispute is now threatening to cost him the chance to take over at Leeds in the summer.

Adkins has been lined up to replace Neil Warnock, who has stated he will quit if Leeds don't get promotion this season.
