Southampton are eyeing Genoa midfielder Miguel Veloso.

The Daily Star says Veloso could be on the move in January, with Valencia keen to take him to Spain.

But Saints have also registered an interest in Veloso, who has over 50 caps for his country.

The 30-year-old is out of contract next summer and Genoa could be forced to cash in or risk losing him for free.

Veloso would be a versatile addition to the Saints squad as he can also play at left back.
