Southampton refuse to do Van Dijk business with Liverpool

Southampton are determined not to do business with Liverpool over the sale of Virgil van Dijk.

The Sunday World says Southampton are still determined to do all they can to stop defender Van Dijk joining Liverpool this summer,.

Chelsea have been quoted a massive £65m to sign the Dutch defender this summer, in a deal that would make the Dutchman the most expensive defender in football history.

Yet Southampton remain keen not to do business with Liverpool for Van Dijk, after the 'tapping up' controversy that saw the Anfield giants issue an embarrassing public apology to their south coast rivals after a series of illegal approaches for the 25-year-old centre-back.
