Guido Carrillo is on a mission at Southampton.
The Saints new record signing after arriving for £19.2m from Monaco spent time under manager Mauricio Pellegrino at Estudiantes.
The pair are now reunited at St. Mary's and Carrillo wants to repay the man who gave him his first time in senior football.
He said: "It's really important as a player, above all as a striker, to be given confidence by the manager, coaches and the club," he said.
"It gives me lots of confidence and I want to take that confidence out onto the pitch."
