AS Monaco forward Valere Germain is a target for Southampton.
Estadio Deportivo says Southampton and Real Betis are the frontrunners to sign Germain.
Germain, 26, spent last season on loan to Nice, then managed by new Saints boss Claude Puel.
He scored 14 goals in 38 appearances last term.
