Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino says he may go after one or two new signings in the January transfer window.
The Argentine is waiting to hear back from club doctors regarding injuries to Gaston Ramirez and Dejan Lovren who were both stretchered off in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland on Saturday.
Pochettino has revealed he will speak to owner and chairwoman Katharina Liebherr before making a final call on potential replacements.
"It's clear that we need to analyse many things with the chairwoman," he told the Southern Daily Echo.
"We will see what happens in the transfer window and we also need to analyse what's happened with these two players who were injured.
"Overall I can't answer so many questions in such a short period of time. I also have the same questions."
