Southampton are on the trail of Feyenoord youngster Jordy Clasie according to reports.
The Daily Mirror suggests that the 23-year old Dutch midfielder is seen as the perfect replacement for Morgan Schneiderlin if the Frenchman happens to leave St Mary's this summer.
Clasie, who skippers Feyenoord, would cost the Saints around £10million according to the report.
The 11-time Holland international, who is also a target for Newcastle United, played under Southampton boss Ronald Koeman when the Dutch tactician was in charge at De Kuip between 2011 and last summer.
