Southampton are adding more responsibility to Adam Lallana's game this season.

The young midfielder was outstanding in victory over Wolves yesterday.

Southampton assistant boss Andy Crosby said: "There is going to be a change of role for Adam this season.

"The aim is to get him on the ball more and it worked today.

"We are lucky because we have quality players who can adapt to whatever we ask of them."
