Southampton boss Alan Pardew is launching a bid for Portsmouth midfielder Hayden Mullins.

The Daily Mail says Pardew is ready to exploit Portsmouth's financial misery by launching a £1m bid for midfielder Hayden Mullins.

Pardew paid Crystal Palace £800,000 to make Mullins his first signing after being appointed West Ham manager in 2003.
