Southampton boss Alan Pardew is launching a bid for Portsmouth midfielder Hayden Mullins.
The Daily Mail says Pardew is ready to exploit Portsmouth's financial misery by launching a £1m bid for midfielder Hayden Mullins.
Pardew paid Crystal Palace £800,000 to make Mullins his first signing after being appointed West Ham manager in 2003.
Mullins is one of a host of players Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou is keen to offload to ease debts of £119m.
