Southampton have made a move for Spartak Moscow attacker Quincy Promes.

Russian sources say Saints boss Ronald Koeman has made enquiries after the Holland international.

However, Spartak are reluctant to consider selling Promes in January.

The 23 year-old is tied to Spartak until 2018 and revealed interest from Manchester United last year.

Promes could arrive at St Mary's as a long-term replacement for Sadio Mane.
