Southampton are lining up a move for Celta Vigo winger Pione Sisto.

The Sun says St Mary's boss Mark Hughes is understood to want Uganda-born Sisto if Saints preserve their Premier League status.

Vigo have inserted a £36million release clause in his contract, which runs until 2021, but would accept around half that amount for him.

Sisto helped the Danes reach this summer's World Cup finals, and has been tipped to impress in Russia.

He has won 12 caps, and scored once in a 1-0 March win over England's upcoming Group G opponents Panama.
