Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse says he always returns a better player after working with England's coaching staff.

He certainly isn't someone for whom national service is a chore.

"It's different every time you come away," he said. "When I go back to my club I feel I've benefited a lot from the experience I've had with England. That's credit to the whole system, the coaching, and the lads I'm with."
