Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin says he become a genuine player competing in League One.
The young Frenchman has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in the Premier League this season.
He recalled to Foot Mercato: "The third division is a jungle. There are only duels, almost no passes. I improved physically and mentally.
"I realized that I had become a true professional."
Schneiderlin is convinced he can achieve his ambitions at St Mary's.
"I do not have a career plan, but I want to play at as a high level as possible, the Champions League, winning titles, new levels each season. I hope to do so with Southampton, because I feel good here and I still have three and a half years on my contract.
"I have a lot of room for improvement."
