Southampton's Uruguay winger Gaston Ramirez fears for his World Cup.
The Mirror says Ramirez was expected to face England in the group phase at Brazil 2014, but is now sweating on an ankle injury which has left his summer in jeopardy.
The Saints' midfielder is confident there is no break after being injured by a Wes Brown challenge in Saturday's draw with Sunderland.
But he is due to go for a second scan, and if that shows ligaments have been torn then he may not be fit in time to be included in their World Cup squad.
