Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin isn't becoming distracted by talk of interest from Arsenal.

Schneiderlin only recently signed a new contract extension in February, which ties him to the Saints until at least 2017.

"I am sure that big things are going to happen to Southampton, and that next season is going to be a big step once again.

"Hopefully this season we can finish in the top 10 because that's our target, and next year we can take another step, maybe to reach the top six.

"Maybe people will say there is no chance of us doing that - I am sure they will think that. I say to them: keep laughing. We will see who laughs last."
