Southampton star Steven Davis has urged his team to bounce back following the defeat against Watford.

Southampton suffered a hugely disappointing 2-0 loss against Watford at the St. Mary's Stadium on Saturday and following the clash, club captain Davis has urged his team to respond strongly when they face Crystal Palace next Saturday.

Davis said: "After the games it's always difficult because you're frustrated and it's difficult to find the right words because there's more frustration now than after sitting back and reflecting and assessing the game properly.

"We all know, without looking at videos and analysing the game, we should have done a lot better. We are a lot better than what we've shown today. It's important we recover from this here and go and show our true qualities at Palace."
