Southampton midfielder Steven Davis was pleased with their draw against Arsenal.

Saints were well worth their point last night.

"If we keep performing in the way we have been, we'll start to turn some of those draws into wins," Davis told the Saints website.

"We're not getting carried away and we know there's still a long way to go in the season. There are a lot of tough fixtures to come, so we just have to keep putting in the same effort in every game.

"I think we've shown we can compete at this level on a consistent basis, so we need to keep doing that - and hopefully that will take us up the table to avoid relegation."
